An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41 1/2" [69 x 105 cm]) (Learn More)

The Big Trees, the 1952 Felix E. Feist forestry conservation romantic melodrama ("Mammoth Redwood wilderness- treasure piled to the sky!"; "Men of courage - men of greed - fighting every towering danger of the Sequoia country - and each other. From WARNER BROS. ...the excitement-swept story of Jim Fallon, 'the Outsider'... And the roving land-giants of the great Northwest!"; "Spectacular saga of the roving land-giants of the Northwest - and the women who followed them!... the big story!"; "Actually filmed high in the mammoth Redwood wilderness - with its treasure that piles to the sky!... the big locale!; " about a Quaker colony that tries to save the giant sequoias) starring Kirk Douglas, Eve Miller, Patrice Wymore, Edgar Buchanan, Alan Hale Jr., Roy Roberts, and Charles Meredith. Note that Douglas apparently agreed to act in any film for free if Warner Bros would let him out of his existing multi-year contract with them. Warner gave him this film which many consider a low-point in his early career.
