An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) White Woman, the 1933 Stuart Walker romantic love triangle melodrama (from a story by Frank Butler; about an owner of a rubber plantation in Malaysia who marries a beautiful singer, but it is a loveless marriage, and she turns to a handsome plantation worker) starring Charles Laughton, Carole Lombard, Charles Bickford, Kent Taylor, Percy Kilbride, and Charles Middleton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: This is a very unusual card! It certainly is one of the sexiest images from this era, with Lombard wearing a plunging blouse that clearly shows her cleavage. Apparently, this was TOO much for some theater, because they applied black paint over most of her exposed skin on her chest, thus giving her a very modest black blouse! Otherwise, the card was in very nice condition. Some talented restorer later repainted over that area (because the original added black paint had "bonded" with the card and could not be removed), and they did a nice job recreating how her chest originally looked, but this restoration absolutely must be noted. Condition: good. The card was censored in Lombard's chest area and then restored (see above). The restorer did an excellent job, and otherwise, the card is in really nice condition, but bear this in mind before placing a bid on this great card! Learn More about condition grades
