An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Callaway Went Thataway, the 1951 Melvin Frank & Norman Panama cowboy western romantic triangle comedy ("MGM's New Comedy Hit!"; also written and produced by Melvin Frank & Norman Panama) starring Fred MacMurray, Dorothy McGuire, Howard Keel (in the title role as Smoky Callaway; "'Show Boat's' handsome star!"; "Handsome star of 'Show Boat'"), Hugh Beaumont, Natalie Schafer, and featuring Esther Williams, Elizabeth Taylor, and Clark Gable in brief cameo appearances NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still has both a wonderful "provenance", and also has an important signature on the back! It comes from the personal collection of actress Mae Clarke, who avidly collected stills from her own movies. In each case, she would take the still and write the names of the actors pictured on the front, and also the name of the movie in pen on the back of each still. Since she was writing her own name, that means that she "signed" every still, and this is one of them! This is a wonderful opportunity to obtain a rare still from one of Mae Clarke's movies, as well as having her signature on the back! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good to fine. The still is in very nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
