An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 10 1/2" x 14" [27 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Pin-ups by Bernard of Hollywood ("A Portfolio of.... Breathtaking Beauties"), a magazine published in 1950 consisting of 62 full-page sexy pin-ups of unidentified beautiful women who were sexily dressed (but no nudity). All the photos are by "Bernard of Hollywood", one of the top glamor photographers at that time. He was born in Switzerland but came to the U.S. and quickly made his mark as a pin-up photographer. In this magazine, each image has information at the bottom explaining how he got the shot from a photographer's standpoint, including the camera shutter speed on many of them, indicating this magazine was intended to be sold to amateur photographers, but we strongly suspect that many non-photographers bought it as well! It is also interesting to note that none of the models are credited on the images, but there is an index that gives credits for all the photos, including the one on page 17, which is of Marilyn Monroe (see our images), and there are some other celebrities included as well, including Barbara Nichols, Ramsay Ames, Jane Greer, Joi Lansing, Lili St. Cyr (who gets two pages), and others! Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue.
