Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) China's Little Devils, the 1945 Monta Bell World War II (WWII) China melodrama ("Original story and Screenplay by Sam Ornitz"; "Based upon an idea by David Diamons"; set in the days before Pearl Harbor, when some Americans were helping China in its war against Japan; an American flyer befriends a Chinese orphan who then organizes his friends into a team of guerrillas who fight the Japanese; then Pearl Harbor occurs and the American is taken prisoner by the Japanese, but the Little Devils rescue him) starring Harry Carey Sr., Paul Kelly, Ducky Louie (billed as "introducing Ducky Louie"), Hayward Soo Hoo, Ralph Lewis, and Jimmy Dodd NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. The cardboard on the front has black tape over all the edges, and there is no cardboard on the back.
