The Wife of General Ling, the 1937 (released in the U.S. in 1938) Ladislao Vajda English China spy intrigue thriller (about a British secret service agent assigned to catch a Chinese gun smuggling ring; he suspects a local businessman of involvement and his only source is the man's wife who later reveals that the businessman is actually the ruthless and cunning warlord that the agent is seeking!) starring Griffith Jones, Valery Inkijinoff (in the title role as General Ling), Adrianne Renn (in the title role as Tau Wong, Ling's wife), Alan Napier, and Anthony Eustrel. Note that this film was edited by David Lean four years prior to his directorial debut!

Important Added Info: Note taht we have never before auctioned this pressbook! Also note that we have provided an image of the front cover and an interior page of this pressbook, and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)!

Condition: fair, WITH CUTS. We can't say for certain, but we think this pressbook is missing a back cover. The last page that is present does have the one-sheet, three-sheet, and six-sheet on it (not pictured), so it is possible that it is complete, but we have never seen another example, so we can't say for sure. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
