A Folded French Special Poster (measures 19 1/2" x 25 1/4" [50 x 64 cm]) (Learn More)

Il a Sauve la France (literally translates to "He Saved France"), the 1940s French poster (with a tagline that translates to "At the field of honor") featuring art of a mother and son next to the tomb of a dead soldier.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture. It has a few areas of paper loss around the edges (affecting mostly only blank paper). This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that many or most of the stains can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
