An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Jumbo Lobby Card (LC; measures 14" x 17" [36 x 43 cm]) (Learn More)

Claire Trevor was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Key Largo (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Stagecoach, Murder, My Sweet, High and The Mighty (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Dead End (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), How to Murder Your Wife, and Born to Kill. She passed away in 2000 at the age of 90.
Artist: Alberto Vargas
Important Added Info: Note that in 1934, Fox Films hired noted pinup artist Alberto Vargas to create a series of portraits of their stars (including Alice Faye)! We once auctioned a set of seven of these, and there might have been more created, but those seven are the only ones we have ever seen. We know that they date from 1934 because Alice Faye started in '34 and we know of a dated still featuring Faye holding her Vargas artwork. Also, the studio was known as Fox Films until 1935 when it became 20th Century Fox, so it seems certain that these date from 1934.

Condition: very good to fine. The card has tiny paper loss and a tiny tear in the upper right border but is otherwise in excellent condition!
