Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). In addition to the blank top being trimmed, there is a small amount trimmed from the left, right, and bottom blank borders (only blank white paper). The poster had minor wear on the foldlines. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
