Date Sold 10/18/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 3 unfolded Star Wars 15 3/4" x 22" Hungarian posters. Note that we are 100% certain that these are NOT the first release Hungarian Star Wars posters, because these are single color, and the first release are full color, and there are also other less obvious differences between these and those, including a difference in paper quality. However, what exactly are these? Our best guess is that these are from a Hungarian re-release, perhaps from the 1980s or 1990s. We are also auctioning a different set of three Hungarian posters that are very similar to these, except those are full color like the originals, except for the differences that these have. Our guess on these is that they are either a printer's test for the other color posters that we believe are re-releases, except that those color ones would likely be from an earlier re-release, possibly from the 1980s. We DON'T think they are repros, because they do resemble the originals, and also because we have never seen any repros of these, and if someone had made them, you would sure think they would be getting sold! HOWEVER, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON EITHER OF THESE POSTERS (or the other three) UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THE UNCERTAINTIES ABOUT THEM DESCRIBED ABOVE.
