Artist: William Rose Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this one-sheet, and only one in the last 29 years (it sold for $1,065). The buyer of the last example has now reconsigned it to us, so this is still only one of two examples of this poster we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor wear on the folds. It had some creases, tears, and tiny bits of paper loss in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed. After it was backed, it was slightly roughly handled, and there is now a 4" horizontal crease in the bottom center above the RKO logo, but it is truly not very noticeable. There is also a piece of clear tape in the bottom center of the excess linen. In spite of these minor defects, this great poster will display wonderfully on the new owner's wall!
