An Original Vintage Autographed Trading Card (measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" [6 x 9 cm]) (Learn More) William Shatner is a Canadian actor from the 1950s to the present. He was 27 when he made The Brothers Karamazov, and he had already spent five years appearing on TV shows. It seemed like this first movie role might be a big break for him, but it was not to be and he returned to TV for 8 more years, including memorable appearances in episodes of The Twilight Zone. In 1966, when he was 35, and it appeared his career might be winding down, he was cast as Captain Kirk in "Star Trek" (a replacement for Jeffrey Hunter, who had starred in the pilot as "Captain Pike", but was no longer available) and that propelled Shatner to stardom. He is also remembered for his role as Denny Crane in the "Boston Legal" TV series. His early acting is often parodied due to his overuse of dramatic pauses when speaking his lines. As of 2021, Shatner is still alive at the age of 90! Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by William Shatner! Also note that we have provided an image of each side of the trading card. Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from Star Shots. Condition: very good to fine.
