He was part of the Three Mesquiteers (as Lullaby Joslin). He was a ventriloquist who often performed ventriloquism in his movie appearances with his dummy, Elmer Sneezewood. Some of his movies include: Ride, Ranger, Ride, Manhattan Merry-Go-Round, Trail of the Silver Spurs, and Giant (uncredited, as Dr. Walker). He passed away in 1973 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Max Terhune (he also signed for his ventriloquist dummy, Elmer, and he wrote long inscriptions for both)! Our consignor obtained this autograph years ago in a group of mostly unsigned items, and they do not remember anymore about it than that, except that they felt it was authentic at that time, and so do we. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good. There are several tears and creases around the edges, with some creases scattered in the image (see our images). Learn More about condition grades
