If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had small areas of paper loss in the top left corner of the image, mostly in the yellow background area above and around the "R" of "RACKET", with tiny paper loss in the bottom of the "R" of "RACKET". Otherwise, the poster had pinholes in the corners, tiny tears and tiny paper loss across the top foldline and a few smudges throughout the image. The person who restored the poster did a good job of touching up the above basically minor defects. Overall, the poster looks nice, and the restoration is only noticeable from inches away.
