She was also the first black person to perform at the Metropolitan Opera in 1955! Some of her songs include: Softly Awakes My Heart, Adeste Fideles, Trampin', and Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen. She passed away in 1993 at the age of 96. Artist: Ernest Hamlin Baker Important Added Info: Note that this ad was removed from a movie magazine that was printed when this movie first came out. There is printing on the reverse side of the ad, but we don't picture it, because it is surely of little interest.
