He is best remembered for his role as Sam Loomis in Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho". Some of his other movies include: Spartacus, Imitation of Life, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Midnight Lace, and A Time to Love and a Time to Die. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Gavin (he added "as Julius Caesar")! Our consignor inherited this signed item (plus others that we are currently auctioning) from a Los Angeles collector who often went to screenings with memorabilia and had celebrities sign the items. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature is likely authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
