An Original Vintage Autographed Unfolded Two-Sided Special Film Festival Movie Poster (measures 17" x 21 3/4" [43 x 55 cm]) (Learn More)

Russian Film Festival, the 1993 poster advertising a 31-movie film festival dedicated to the films of Russia, held from April 18 - July 5 at the annual "Memphis In May" music festival held in Memphis, Tennessee. Some of the films shown included Stalker, Nostalghia, Solaris, Twilight of the Tsars, and Taxi Blues.

Artist: Ellis Chapelle

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was signed (autographed) by the artist, Ellis Chapelle (it reads "Ellis Chapelle 93" at lower left) and there is another signature at lower right but we cannot make out the signature and we have no idea who that person may be. Also note that this poster was consigned to us by a collector who believes the autograph(s) to be genuine, and we agree with him (or else we would not be offering it). But we have no "certificate of authenticity", so please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept a degree of uncertainty as to whether the autograph(s) is/are genuine. Also note that this poster is double-sided, but not in the regular way. There are different images on each side of the poster. We have provided an image of each side, and please realize that the winner of this auction will receive ONE poster!

Condition: good to very good. There are a few small 'chips' out of the poster around the edges and there are some scuffs and minor creases throughout (more so around the edges).
