An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More)

Scuola Elementare (literally translates to "Elementary School"), the 1954 Alberto Lattuada Italian school teacher romantic comedy (about a young man who becomes a teacher at a school, and he is friends with the janitor, who dreams of becoming a rich businessman, and the teacher is torn between staying at the school, where he can help the underprivileged students, or taking a better job) starring Riccardo Billi, Mario Riva, Lise Bourdin, Alberto Rabagliati, Rene Clermont, and Marc Cassot. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. Note that Alberto Lattuada is best remembered for the screenplays he wrote for Federico Fellini, including "Variety Lights". This movie is completely forgotten today, except by major film buffs, and it was never released in the U.S., but it appears to be a charming movie. If part of the plot seems very familiar, it is because it was borrowed for the plot of "To Sir, With Love" in 1967!
