An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 27 3/4" [56 x 70 cm]) (Learn More) The Son of Doctor Jekyll, the 1951 Seymour Friedman horror thriller ("She Married a Monster"; "Heritage of horror!"; "Man or monster--he was still her mate!"; about the son of the notorious Dr. Henry Jekyll who is determined to prove that his father's reputation has been unjustly deserved) starring Louis Hayward (in the title role as Edward Jekyll, the son of Dr. Jekyll!), Jody Lawrance, Alexander Knox, Lester Matthews, and Gavin Muir NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 22" x 27 3/4" [56 x 70 cm]. Also note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: fair to good. The poster has significant creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (some of which has been repaired with or covered by tape) and there is light rippling and slight discoloration scattered in portions of the poster due to exposure to moisture. There are scuff marks and some scratches at center and there are some paper remnants at upper left. Learn More about condition grades
