An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Truxton King, the 1923 Jerome Storm silent medieval romantic royalty adventure melodrama ("I saw a pair of Mysterious Eyes watching the Prince!"; based on the book "by George Barr McCutcheon"; about an American who visits the mythical kingdom of Graustark, and at first is thought a spy, but ends up saving the child prince from assassination, and wins the love of the boy's aunt; it sounds like a combination of "The Adventures of Robin Hood" and "The Court Jester") starring John Gilbert (in the title role as Truxton King), Ruth Clifford, Frank Leigh, Michael D. Moore, and Otis Harlan. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
