An Original 1953 (from the first release of this movie in Denmark) Vintage Theatrical Folded Danish Movie Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 33 1/2" [62 x 85 cm]) (Learn More) Pony Soldier (released outside the U.S. as "MacDonald of the Canadian Mounties"), the 1952 Joseph M. Newman Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Mountie cowboy western ("Based on the Saturday Evening Post story by Garnett Weston") starring Tyrone Power Jr., Cameron Mitchell (as the Native American Indian "Konah"), Thomas Gomez, Penny Edwards, Robert Horton, Anthony Earl Numkena, Adeline De Walt Reynolds, Howard Petrie, and Stuart Randall. Note that this movie received unexpected publicity in 2020 when presidential candidate (and former vice president) Joe Biden inexplicably called a member of a town hall meeting "A lying, dog-faced pony soldier", which was a quote from this movie, but few if any people anywhere understood the reference! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There is writing on back at center that slightly bleeds through to the front and there are some other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image. There is a Danish "Statens Filmcensur" censor ink pad stamp in one corner. Learn More about condition grades
