Robert Louis Stevenson's Kidnapped, the 1960 Robert Stevenson English/U.S. Walt Disney Scotland orphan seafaring adventure thriller ("Swashbuckling adventure"; "Danger drama and suspense!"; "Excitement... Danger... Important Added Info: Note that these two scripts represent a real mystery! The above movie was released to theaters in 1960. However, in 1963, it was re-edited and shown as two parts on TV's "Wonderful World of Disney". So one would think these scripts, because they are titled "Part I" and "Part II", would surely be from the 1963 TV movie version. However, they have dates from 1958 and 1959 on them, and if they were written then, they would have been written for the theatrical version, and why would they have two dates? In addition, this auction includes 22 8x10 stills, which are undated, but they would seem to be from the 1960 theatrical version, and they all have snipes on the back describing what is on the front, and they refer to "The Buena Vista release", which would have been the theatrical release. So please do not bid on these scripts unless you can accept this uncertainty as to whether they are from the theatrical or the TV version, and if anyone knows more about any of this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this auction includes two scripts, because this movie was shown in two parts on television, and one script is for Part I and the other script is for Part II. The Part I script is from December 31, 1958 and the screenplay was written by Robert Stevenson, and the Part II script is from February 5, 1959 (see our first paragraph above for our uncertainty as to which version of this movie these are from). Included with the two scripts are 22 8x10 stills, and because we picture all the stills, due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 11 total images of the scripts and the stills are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 1.

Condition: very good to fine. The scripts and the stills are in nice condition. See our multiple images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this script.
