An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 2 3/4" x 8 3/4" when folded; 4 pages) (Learn More)

Blonde Venus, the classic 1932 Josef von Sternberg woman-sacrifices-all-including-her-integrity-for-her-sick-husband-who-turns-on-her romantic melodrama starring Marlene Dietrich, Herbert Marshall, Cary Grant, Gene Morgan, Dickie Moore, Francis Sayles, and Sidney Toler (in an early 9th billed role). Note that this was one of the seven movies that Dietrich made with director von Sternberg, and it is one of the best remembered, after "The Blue Angel" (which was the only one of the seven which was not a U.S. movie, because von Sternberg made it in Germany, in both languages).
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note this herald was folded in half at one time as was originally intended. We have unfolded the herald and photographed the front and back covers together, and the interior (which is not the way the herald is normally displayed, where you only see the front cover by itself). Also note that this U.S. herald was used in a Spanish speaking country, and there is Spanish printing on the back cover, but this IS a U.S. herald, which was overprinted with Spanish writing.

Condition: very good. The herald was attached to an album with a piece of tape on the top right and bottom right of the front cover and on the middle left of the back cover. The tape from the front cover does not bleed through to the inside, but the tape from the back cover slightly does. Other than the above, the herald is in pretty nice condition!
