We are listing it under the original release date of 1939 (the IMDb says that the movie played in Turkey in 1939), but it seems quite possible it could have been released at a later date (although it is clearly a vintage poster and it seems likely that it would date from the 1940s at the latest). If anyone knows more about exactly when this poster is from, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this Turkish poster measures 27 3/4" x 39 1/4" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good to fine. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was in very good to fine condition. There was a thin area of paper loss at the top crossfold (measuring perhaps 1/4" by 2"). There was a tiny hole at each of the bottom crossfolds. These were very expertly repaired. Other than the above minor defects, the poster was in excellent condition except for some light black smudges down the right side of the poster (most noticeable in the top and bottom of the right blank border) which was most likely a minor printing defect, and which the restorer left as is. The poster looks great and I can't imagine a collector who would not be happy to have it their collection! Learn More about condition grades
