4j356 MOTION PICTURE OPERATION hardcover book '17 Stage Electrics & Illusions, great illustrations!

An Original Vintage Hardcover Book (measures 4 1/2" x 6 1/2"; 400 pages) (Learn More)

Motion Picture Operation: Stage Electrics and Illusions, A Practical Hand-book and Guide for Theater Electricians, Motion Picture Operators and Managers of Theaters and Productions, the 1917 book written by Henry C. Horstman and Victor H. Tousley. Note that this book told everything you could want to know about operating movie cameras in 1917 (including mini diagrams, charts, and many illustrations of cameras, camera equipment and related items)!
Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the copyright information. It seems that this is a revised edition from 1917, because there is a copyright of both 1914 and 1917.

Note that this Sunday we have added hardcover movie-related books to our line-up of items (and we will have many more similar books in future Sunday auctions). On all books, the buyer must pay the actual cost of shipping (but if you solely buy books, or if you want the books shipped separately, they can be shipped in the U.S. only via "Media Mail", which is much less expensive than Priority Mail; unfortunately, there is no similar service outside the U.S. to Media Mail). So bear the above in mind before placing a bid on this book.

Condition: very good.
