It is a certainty that Welles was the producer and co-screenwriter with Joseph Cotten, but many people believe that Welles actually directed it as well, although others think he only directed parts of it (Welles himself said that he did not direct any of it, but he was known to not always tell the truth!).

Therefore, we don't list the date overprinted on the back of a herald as the date of the herald unless we know that was when the movie first played in Spain. If we believe the herald was printed earlier, then we use that date.
