Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More)

Randy Turpin vs. Sugar Ray Robinson, the 1951 big screen presentation of the sports boxing match ("Can Sugar Ray bring the Title back to the U.S.A.?"; "See... the battle of the century!"; "Extra! Exclusive!"; "Return match"; "Better Than A Ringside Seat! Blow-by-blow! Round-by-round! Slow-motion close-ups of the highlight thrills!"; "Official exclusive World Championship Films") between Randy Turpin (Randolph Turpin) and Sugar Ray Robinson which took place in 1951. Note that the first match between the two took place just two months before this match, and it "resulted in a stunning upset when the little-known Turpin defeated Robinson for the title". For this rematch, Robinson defeated Turpin and reclaimed the championship title.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. "ROBINSON" is written with red crayon in the upper right over the "RETURN MATCH!" tagline, but since it is red, it closely matches the colors of the poster and isn't terribly distracting. There is minor separation at each crossfold. The bottom crossfold has some clear tape over it. There are minor creases throughout the poster that aren't very distracting. There are a few smudges and tack holes in the borders.
