Important Added Info: Note that this screenplay was written by Kenneth Lonergan. Studios would send examples of their scripts to screenwriters who were members of the Motion Picture Academy, so that they would be more likely to vote for that screenplay to be nominated for the "Best Screenplay" Oscar. They used to send actual regular scripts, but in recent years, they have switched to creating small professionally bound versions of the scripts that measure 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", and resemble softcover books. This script has "FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION" printed on the front cover, and it was sent to a famous director/screenwriter because the producers of the movie wanted to convince him to vote to nominate this script for Best Screenplay.
