An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Key Book Still (Learn More) Betty Grable was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s, often appearing in romantic musicals. Some of her movies include: The Gay Divorcee, Follow the Fleet, Cavalcade, and I Wake Up Screaming. She is perhaps best remembered for her famous sexy legs, and one of her pin-up images, which was one of the absolute most popular ones displayed by soldiers during World War II (at one time, her legs were insured for $1,000,000 by Lloyds of London!). She was married to actor Jackie Coogan, and then later to bandleader Harry James (with whom she had two children) AND Susan Hayward (born Edythe Marrenner) was an actress from the 1930s to the 1970s. She started in the late 1930s, and became a star in the 1940s, and at an age when many other actress' careers started to fade, she continued strong, and had some of her best roles in the 1940s. Some of her movies include: With A Song In My Heart (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), I'll Cry Tomorrow (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), I Want To Live (in her Best Actress Academy Award winning role), Valley of the Dolls, The Conqueror, My Foolish Heart (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), Smash-Up (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), and Beau Geste. Sadly, she passed away in 1975 from cancer, and she was only 57 AND Ellen Drew was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s. Some of her movies include: Make Way for Tomorrow, Stars in My Crown, Christmas in July, If I Were King, and Bluebeard's Eighth Wife Important Added Info: Note that this still is a key book still, printed on a deluxe heavyweight paper stock. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the top of the still. Condition: very good. The top 1" was neatly trimmed off (see above). There is a blue "X" in the bottom left corner, indicating this still was not used by the studio. Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
