Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, the 1944 Mervyn LeRoy World War II (WWII) military propaganda Japan airplane aviation pilot thriller ("M-G-M presents the great motion picture"; "Screen Play by Dalton Trumbo"; "Based on the Book and Collier's Story by Captain Ted W. Lawson and Robert Considine"; about the U.S. bombing of Tokyo that was led by Captain Doolittle, but this movie focuses on subplots of some of the individual pilots) starring Van Johnson, Robert Walker, Phyllis Thaxter, Tim Murdock, Scott McKay, Gordon McDonald, Don Defore, Robert Mitchum, John R. Reilly, Stephen McNally (billed as "Horace McNally"), and Spencer Tracy ("as Lieutenant Colonel James H. Doolittle")

Important Added Info: Note that Robert Mitchum was not a major star in this movie, and he received low billing. However, at the time of this re-release, he WAS a major star, and so MGM gave him third billing, equal to that of the two lead stars (but oddly, they did not add him into the artwork!). Also note that the art is clearly signed "RICO", but it looks like there is a last name that was cropped out that is under it. If anyone knows the name of the artist, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. There is a Canadian censor stamp in the border at upper left and there is a small amount of tattering along the foldlines and edges with a few tiny tape repairs on the back.
