What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds, with extra folds, tears, and paper loss scattered on parts of many folds, but fortunately, only some extra creases in the fold going through the center of The Green Hornet's face. It had tears and some paper loss around the edges, and the bottom 1" of the poster had been trimmed off just below the text. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. A talented restorer did a nice job backing it, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
