An Original 1919 (from the first release of this movie in Denmark) Vintage Theatrical Danish Movie Program (measures 5 1/2" x 8" [14 x 20 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More)

Bound in Morocco, the 1918 Allan Dwan silent romantic action comedy ("Story and direction by Allan Dwan"; an unusual story of an American "Boy" in Morocco, who learns a beautiful American "Girl" is about to be sold into a harem of a cruel Sheik; he tries to rescue her but is put in prison, and then escapes and disguises himself as a female attendant, and sneaks into the harem, and rescues the girl; he has a battle with the Sheik, and at the end of the movie, everyone is chasing the boy and the girl, including the police, local bandits, and all the townspeople, but the mother of the girl drives up and they jump in the car and drive to safety) starring Douglas Fairbanks Sr. (as "The Boy"), Pauline Curley (as "The Girl"), Edythe Chapman, Tully Marshall, and Frank Campeau. Note that there is an oddity to this movie. The IMDb says that the screenplay and the story were credited to Elton Thomas, who was really Douglas Fairbanks Sr., and the "writer" was Allan Dwan, but the glass slide for this movie solely says that the story was by Allan Dwan, so we wonder if the IMDb has some facts mixed up. If anyone can untangle this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that first release movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a glass slide from this movie until we received this Danish program! Also note that we have pictured the front and back covers and an interior 2-page spread from this program.

Condition: fair to good.
