An Original Vintage Theatrical Mexican Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 12 3/4" x 16 1/2") (Learn More)

The title on this Mexican lobby card (we have auctioned singles and sets) translates to Invasion to the Earth, the circa 1950s horror science fiction (sci-fi) thriller that apparently starred Frankie Darro, and Dorothy Christie. We say "apparently starred", because the only movie we could find with Darro and Christie credited together is Men With Steel Faces, which maybe somehow translated to Invasion to the Earth! But there is something even more bizarre about this. Some of the Mexican lobby cards we have auctioned had images from the 1935 science fiction serial Phantom Empire (of course, without the above two stars), but we were also consigned two Mexican lobby cards (in a set of four) that have images from "Superman vs The Mole Men" from 1951! So maybe they just made cards with this title and border art when they had any kind of sci-fi movie to show (probably in re-releases). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
