He will forever be best remembered for playing Superman in the series of 4 movies that began in 1978. Some of his other movies include: Somewhere in Time, Village of the Damned, Deathtrap, and Noises Off. Tragically, in 1995, he had an accident while riding a horse, and he became paralyzed from the neck down. He continued acting, but passed away in 2004 at the age of 52. In a tragic twist of fate, his wife Dana passed away in 2006 at the age of 44, after getting diagnosed with lung cancer, even though she never smoked! Our consignor purchased this from a dealer CPG Direct, and there is a certificate authenticity from them attached to the back (see our images).
