An Original (under the alternate title of "Two Mugs from Brooklyn") Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #2 (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Two Mugs from Brooklyn (also released as "Two Knights from Brooklyn"), the 1949 Kurt Neumann New York City comedy ("A gang of gagsters... a load of laughs!") starring William Bendix, Joe Sawyer, Grace Bradley, Max Baer, Arline Judge, Joe Devlin, Mike Mazurki, and Sheldon Leonard. Note that Hal Roach created this film by editing two films together (the 1942 film "The McGuerins from Brooklyn" and the 1943 film "Taxi, Mister"), and releasing them through "Favorite Films". This film was also released as "Two Knights From Brooklyn", but we think there is a definite possibility that this was from a later Favorite Films re-release of this compilation film, likely in the early 1950s. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info:

UPDATED 03/04/2014: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this lobby card is for the 1949 film "Two Knights from Brooklyn" and not a 1940s re-release of "The McGuerins from Brooklyn" as we initially listed. Please see the Film Description for more information.

Condition: very good. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
