An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Airmail, the 1932 John Ford romantic airplane aviation adventure melodrama ("The Epic Thriller"; produced by Carl Laemmle Jr.; about pilots trying to deliver air mail in bad weather) starring Ralph Bellamy, Gloria Stuart, Pat O'Brien (in an early movie role!), Slim Summerville, Lilian Bond, and Russell Hopton. Note that if this plot sounds familiar, it is because Howard Hawks "borrowed" it for his 1939 movie "Only Angels Have Wings", starring Cary Grant, Rita Hayworth, and Jean Arthur! Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a one-sheet (22 years ago for $1,035), a pressbook (also 22 years ago), a herald (18 years ago), and two lobby cards from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this window card! Condition: very good. There is a small nail hole in the neck of the girl in the inset image with surface paper loss above it. There is a tiny nail hole 3" to the left of that.
