An Original Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Tri-Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) When a Woman Strikes, the 1919 Roy Clements silent cowboy western romantic melodrama ("The melodramatic sensation of the season"; "With a powerful company of celebrated players") starring Rosemary Theby, Ben F. Wilson, Neva Gerber, and Murdock MacQuarrie. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Also note this three-sheet poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with three-sheets folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded three-sheets need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", so they cost more to send than regularly folded three-sheets, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses. Condition: fair to good. After the poster was mounted onto the kraft paper, the borders of the kraft paper were folded over the front of the borders of the poster and glued down. There is paper loss in the top left corner and smudges and scuffs scattered throughout, with fold and border damage. A restorer can remove the poster from the kraft paper and properly linenback it, after which it will look great, but please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
