An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Love of Sunya, the 1927 Albert Parker silent reincarnation romantic fantasy melodrama (about an evil priest in ancient Egypt who kills a young woman, and he is reincarnated in the present, and to atone, he must find the reincarnation of the young woman, and he poses as a gypsy and shows her three different scenarios of how her life could turn out, trying to influence her into taking the one that will lead to happiness and allow him to die in peace) starring Gloria Swanson (in the title role as Sunya), John Boles (his first leading role, in his fourth movie!), Pauline Garon, Ian Keith, and Andres de Segurola. Note that this is a loose remake of the 1919 movie "Eyes of Youth" starring Clara Kimball Young. Also note that poster material from this movie is incredibly rare. We have auctioned a window card and a Danish program. The window card only credits Gloria Swanson, and the Danish program credits actors in a very different order from what is listed above, and John Boles is sixth rather than second, but we suspect the Danish credits may be in order of appearance. We were unable to locate any first release U.S. material giving more credits than Swanson. If anyone has any or knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: poor to fair. There is significant paper loss in the bottom right and there are many smudges and stains scattered through the card.
