Artist: Tim Dingle
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this special poster! It has a great image, and it has a great mystery surrounding it! It is a "faux" poster drawn by "muralist" Tim Dingle, who created it as if it were a poster from a 1920s western movie (and he even added "William Fox presents" in the top left, taken from an actual silent western poster, and while this technically is a "Fox" movie, it is a 20th Century-Fox movie and not a "William Fox" one!). The great mystery is how and where this poster was used. It is on a heavy board and was apparently created that way. Our consignor obtained it from when the movie premiered in Israel! He does not know if more than one example of this poster was created, and neither do we, and we could not even find its image anywhere on the Internet! Perhaps it was created for that premiere, and it may well be a one of a kind test poster, but we just don't know. It surely seems incredibly rare! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Please note that because this poster was created on a heavy board, it will need to be sent in a very large flat package that measures approximately 30" x 43". This will add significantly to the shipping costs of this poster, so bear this in mind BEFORE placing a bid on it.

Condition: good. The poster was created on a heavy board. There is a tear and small paper loss in the bottom of the "R" of "BROTHERS" at top center, and it also affects the top of the "g" below it, and slightly the "O" and the "H" to the right of it. The tear goes through the heavy board. There is a similar tear and tiny paper loss in the right of Ethan Hawke's chin, and it extends diagonally down to the right of it. There are two diagonal scratches across the lower part of the image and a vertical scratch starting in the face of the man pointing to the rifle at the back of the car. There are scuffs and scratches in the bottom of the poster. There are some tiny nail holes around the edges. Obviously, one would prefer this poster not have these defects, but as noted above, it may well be one of a kind, and of course, restoration could be performed.
