An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 12 pages) (Learn More)

Warner Bros 1965-66, the 1965 Warner Bros campaign book ("Dear Exhibitors, What better way to say full-speed ahead and thank you than by keeping the product rolling and the box office humming. Best Wishes, Jack Warner") sent to theater owners encouraging them to show Warner Bros movies. The book includes 28 pages of stars and upcoming movies including: The Great Race, Battle of the Bulge, Othello, and many, many more! What is really cool about this campaign book is that it appears that a single artist created all the art for all the ads, and all of them have a very Saul Bass-like feel (and the one for Inside Daisy Clover has Natalie Wood putting a graffiti mustache on a face that is clearly an homage to Bass' art for "Bonjour Tristesse" from 1958). Is the art in the book an homage to Bass or by Bass himself? We could find no information about this. If anyone knows more about this (and especially who did the art if it was not Saul Bass), please e-mail us and we will post it here.
