An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Italian Photobusta Movie Poster (13x18 pbusta; measures 13 1/2" x 19 1/2" [34 x 50 cm]) (Learn More) Le Carrosse d'or (released in the U.S. as "Jean Renoir's The Golden Coach"), the 1952 Jean Renoir French/Italian South America Peru romantic love triangle comedy ("She lured men with her strange fascination... They fought even to the death for her fleeting favors!"; "Magnani is superb in her first English-speaking role!"; "All English Cast!"; set in 18th century Peru, about a beautiful woman who has three lovers who each offer her a very different life if she will choose them over the others) starring Anna Magnani, Duncan Lamont, Paul Campbell, Odoardo Spadaro, Nada Fiorelli, and Dante (a Danish magician named Harry August Jensen, who appeared in three movies as a magician, including this one and Laurel & Hardy's "A-Haunting We Will Go"). Note that when this movie was first released in the U.S., it was with an English language soundtrack, and the poster had a very misleading tagline, "All English Cast!", which apparently referred to the fact that you were hearing English! In 1992, on its 40th anniversary, Martin Scorsese had the original English language print completely restored, and it was re-released to theaters. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Ercole Brini Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie! Also note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. Condition: good to very good. There are a few 1/2" and smaller tears and some minor creases and smudges around the edges of the poster. There is a light slightly diagonal crease at right. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
