An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Arthur Franz was an actor from the 1940s to the 1980s. Some of his roles were in Invaders from Mars, Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man, and The Sniper. He passed away in 2006 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Arthur Franz! Our consignor was a very longtime collector who acquired many of his autographs in person at collectibles shows, but also bought a few through the mail. He is no longer with us to tell us how this autograph was acquired, and there is no certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain it is authentic. In the case of this still, it comes with the original letter that the collector sent to Mr. Franz, telling him that he had enclosed two stills (this one, which is original, and a REPRO, which we are auctioning in a separate auction) for him to sign, and also inviting Mr. Franz to take a tour of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where the consignor worked. Also, the letter (which will be sent to the winner of this auction) and the signature are from 1986, but the still IS an original from 1953!
