Hogan Universal science fiction (sci-fi) monster horror thriller ("A new sensation in horror!"; "Original Story by Hans Kraly"; a wacky story of a scientist who discovers an "ancient Mayan nerve gas", and when his assistant is exposed to it, he becomes a mindless ghoul who needs to eat human hearts to stay alive) starring Turhan Bey, Evelyn Ankers, David Bruce (in the title role as The Mad Ghoul), George Zucco, Milburn Stone, Robert Armstrong, and Rose Hobart NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds and small tears and tiny paper loss scattered on the vertical foldline between the top and bottom crossfolds, with a lesser number of small tears and tiny bits of paper loss on other foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can slightly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
