An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Empty Hands, the 1924 Victor Fleming silent Canada romantic melodrama ("From the novel by Arthur Stringer"; about a wild daughter of a rich man who gets in trouble and her father takes her on a hunting trip in the Canadian Northwest; she goes fishing and her canoe capsizes, and her father's engineer rescues her, but they are lost together, and although they detest each other initially, one thing leads to another, and by the time they are rescued, they are madly in love) starring Jack Holt, Norma Shearer (she was 22!), Charles Clary, Hazel Keener, and Gertrude Olmstead. We are not sure what the 'empty hands' of the title refers to, but we have seen a glass slide which is just a close up of a man's hands, so surely it refers to some key plot point.
