They started working on stage together in 1935 and graduated to radio, television and film. Click on Lou Costello's name to learn much more about them! Some of their movies include: One Night in the Tropics, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, Hold That Ghost, and Who Done It. Abbott passed away in 1974 at the age of 78, and Costello passed away in 1959 at the age of 52. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from 1953, when the syndicated Abbott & Costello TV show was going to be shown on NBC in New York. We know that for certain because it has an original NBC Television snipe on the back (see our image). It is very hard to find stills from 1950s or 1960s TV episodes that are absolutely from the first release, and are surely not from a 1960s or 1970s re-broadcast. Also note that this TV still measures 7 1/4" x 9" [18 x 23 cm]. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
