An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Soul Fire, the 1925 John S. Robertson silent romantic South Seas tropical island melodrama (based on the play 'Great Music' by Martin Brown; about a rich young man who longs to be a serious composer, but after studying in Paris, he fails to achieve success; he starts writing cheap songs that become big hits, but he is unhappy, and he ends up as a sailor on a ship after killing a man, and he ends up on an island with a beautiful "half-breed", who happens to have a piano, and she becomes his "soul fire", which we would nowadays call his "muse") starring Richard Barthelmess, Bessie Love, Percy Ames, Charles Esdale, and Effie Shannon. Note that the IMDb says that this movie was released as "Soul-Fire", but the only advertising we have seen does not have the hyphen, so we think they are wrong, and that the title is actually "Soul Fire". If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a herald and a different still from this movie until we received this still!
