The Runaway Express, the 1926 Edward Sedgwick silent romantic love triangle railroad train action adventure thriller ("From Frank H. Spearman's sensational R.R. story 'The Nerve of Foley'"; about a cowboy who is on a train delivering cattle for his boss, and when the engineer refuses to go straight through, the cowboy takes over the train and the superintendent of the railroad offers him a job, which he takes when he sees the superintendent's pretty daughter) starring Jack Daugherty (as Joseph Foley), Blanche Mehaffey, Tom O'Brien, Charles K. French, William Steele, Harry Todd, Madge Hunt, and Syd Saylor. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Condition: good to very good. folded in half at one time resulting in a vertical fold in the middle of the card; 1 1/2" tear with a 1/2" tear extending from it in the middle of the left and right edges of the card (repaired with tape from the back); minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the card (mostly along the foldlines and around the edges); one or two tack holes in each corner of the card; much pencil writing on the back of the card that does not appear to have any effect on the front
