Die Entlassung (released in English-speaking countries as "Bismarck's Dismissal"), the 1942 Wolfgang Liebeneiner German historical melodrama (about Otto von Bismarck and Kaiser Wilhelm II, and the events that led to the Kaiser dismissing Bismarck, which contributed greatly to the rise of Adolf Hitler) starring Emil Jannings (he won the first Academy Award, but his thick accent limited his ability to play in sound movies, and he returned to Germany, and made several movies for the Nazis; as Otto von Bismarck), Margarete Schon, Christian Kaybler, Theodor Loos (as Kaiser Wilheim I), Karl Ludwig Diehl, Hildegard Grethe, and Werner Hintz (as Kaiser Wilhelm II)
