Note that at the beginning of the 1930's, wine was a luxury commodity in most places in Germany. The Nazis wanted to change that and created the term "Wein ist Volksgetrank" (Wine is a beverage for the People) and many different initiatives and events were created by the Nazi government to increase sales of German wines. At the start of the 1930s, wine consumption was about 5 liters per person, today it is about 25 liters! Artist: Paul Condition: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It has light brown stains scattered throughout the poster (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
