the 1928 double bill release of Elinor Glyn's Three Weekends, the 1928 Clarence G. Badger romantic comedy (based on a story by Elinor Glyn, most famous as the author of "Three Wees" and "It"; the title of this movie was an attempt to make a connection with her bestseller "Three Weeks") starring Clara Bow, Neil Hamilton, Harrison Ford, Lucille Powers, Julia Swayne Gordon, and William Holden (no, not THAT William Holden, but another actor of the same name who made 20 movies between 1920 and 1931, and he died the next year, which was 7 years before the more famous William Holden made his first movie!) AND Avalanche, the 1928 Otto Brower cowboy western ("Zane Grey's Masterpiece"; written by Zane Grey) starring Jack Holt, Doris Hill, and Baclanova
